We are delighted to invite you to our next MikroZoo event, which will be held on friday 20 May, at JK Paddestoel in Groot-Bijgaarden. For our third edition, we are honoured to have Pierre (Fuse, Lesizmo:r) on the line-up, alongside Tecnum and our two resident DJs Lucas Caroso and Anro Brehme.
MikroZoo wants you to discover the best side of ele...ctronic music. Therefore we will offer you in the next couple of years the better techno, tech house and minimal. Our vision is to give our guests a complete experience; visuals, quality music, good people and a crazy atmosphere! And all this for a democratic price.
// PIERRE (Fuse, Lesizmo:r, Brussels)
Born in 1973, this excellent Belgian DJ started mixing at the ripe young age of 14. After reputable residencies at club 55 (Kortrijk) and Café D'Anvers (Antwerp), he earned the grand-daddy of them all, residency at Brussels's Fuse. This was soon followed by extensive dates at monster clubs throughout Europe Rex (Paris), Mazzo (Amsterdam), The End (London), Titanik and MDM (Moscow)]. As one thing inevitably leads to another with talents such as Pierre, he became a fixture at huge parties such as Techno Parade - Paris (150.000 people), Dance Valley (60.000 people), Mayday (25.000 people), I Love Techno (30.000 people), 10 Days of Techno, the Dour Festival, and Axion Beach. Pierre is also responsible for several compilations and remixed Praga Khan. Next to that, he was voted "Best Belgian DJ 2000" by the readers of Out Soon, Belgium's most popular dance magazine. Pierre is resident on the fuse level at Fuse since the opening in 1994.
// LUCAS CAROSO (MikroZoo, Fuse, Techforia)
Lucas Caroso is a young dj originating from Payottenland, Flemish Brabant. He started working the decks with a friend as 'Hermes' in 2006, but in 2008 he decided to do things solo and so Lucas Caroso was born. With his mix of firm minimal techno beats with a pinch of house, he caught the eye of several promoters, who gave him the chance to play at exquisite parties with some of the big names in the scene such as: Pierre, Seba Lecompte, Massimo Girardi, Deg and Tecnum. But wait, there's more! In the summer of 2010, he -and 2 other competitors- were elected by Fuse as winner of the Fuse Young Talent competition. On NYE, he got the great opportunity to play in one of the biggest techno clubs of Europe, Fuse, along with Monika Kruse.
// ANRO BREHME (MikroZoo)
Anro Brehme is a DJ and producer who is born and raised in Brussels. An audiophile with a worrying obsession about music who tries to channel his personal experiences from underground clubs and coverting it to an unconventional and undefined sound on the dancefloor. Continuously exploring the range of differed electronic music genres, he is playing a leading role at the MikroZoo events as a resident. He creates a unique tension between hypnotically deep atmospheres and capricious grooves leading to energetic sets adapted to space and time. With his entry into sound design and day in day out dedication, Brehme won't appear unnoticed in the future.
// TECNUM (Djingel Djangel, Fuse)
Tecnum's style could best be described as groovy, bouncy, funky techhouse with modern techno elements in a great atmosphere. In 2009 he already played 2x the main room at Antwerp's legendary club Café d'Anvers for the concept Mimazu and got asked to play in the Ultra room on 14 years Kozzmozz, a national standard in techno clubbing and a very big honour. As we speak Tecnum is also very busy trying to produce his very first tracks.
